StartEngine Reports $143 Million in Online Capital Formation for 2024

StartEngine, a full-stack securities crowdfunding platform, reports that it enabled $143 million across 243 offerings during 2024.

StartEngine, both a Funding Portal and Broker-Dealer, allows firms to raise money using Reg CF, Reg A, and Reg D. Recently, StartEngine has focused more energy on its Reg D offerings, which has helped the platform generate more revenue.

In an email, StartEngine reported that StartEngine Private, which launched in Q4 of 2023, raised $27 million from 35 series offerings during 2024, including $16.5M million of a total of $31.2M of revenue in the first 9 months of 2024.  StartEngine also shares that the net loss increased by 30% to $13.8 million during that period.

StartEngine states:

“Thanks in large part to StartEngine Private, we doubled our revenue over the first 6 months of 2024. Our goal is to continue that trend into 2025 and beyond.”

StartEngine is in the midst of another self-crowdfunding round using the Reg A exemption. The platform is seeking up to $19.2 million in net proceeds in a sale of common equity. Some insiders are selling shares as part of the sale. The Offering Circular is available here.
