Grey and Clear Junction will partner on global payments, according to a company release.
Grey is a graduate of Y-Combinator in 2022. The Fintech aims to provide banking services in emerging markets. Current products include multi-currency accounts, real-time money transfers, and virtual cards. Grey targets digital nomads.
By working with Clear Junction, Grey is expected to be able to expand its services to transfers in more than 40 countries by tapping into the company’s network.
Clear Junction is licensed by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and currently offers various payment services for financial services firms.
Idorenyin Obong and Joseph Femi Aghedo founded Grey, which has reportedly surpassed over one million users. Grey raised $2 million in seed funding in March 2022.
Obong, CEO of Grey, said the partnership would enable them to offer services to more people.
Grey states that it has a Money Service Business license from FINTRAC in Canada and FinCEN in the USA.
