The newly announced SEC Crypto Task Force has provided an update on the staff engaged with aiding the process of providing regulatory clarity for digital assets. In a release today, the SEC outlined the Crypto Task Force staff members. The group is being helmed by Commissioner Hester Peirce, who is well known for supporting Fintech innovation, including crypto.
Peirce issued the following statement on the Staff:
“The Crypto Task Force exhibits deep expertise and an enthusiastic commitment to identifying—with the help of other talented staff across the Commission and interested members of the public—workable solutions to difficult crypto regulatory problems.”
As the Trump Adminstration is moving at a hyperkinetic pace to reform government, in contrast to the last four years of ossified government, the Staffers will have their work cut out for them immediately.
