To support this global market demand, Veriff appointed former Twilio and Checkout.com CTO Ott Kaukver to its Board of Directors.
Veriff’s customer base grew by “71% in the past year, driven by rising demand from sectors beyond financial services.”

During his time at Twilio, he helped grow revenue “from $90 million to over $1.7 billion.”
At Skype, he was among the early engineers “behind a product used by hundreds of millions worldwide.”
He will work closely with Veriff’s leadership team to “guide product strategy and global technology development, as the company expands from its established markets in the US and Europe into Latin America, Asia Pacific, and beyond.”
With Kaukver joining, Veriff continues to “strengthen its leadership team following the recent appointment of Jeffrey Guy as COO and President, and John Pickering as CFO.”
