Checkout.com, a UK-based Fintech, is expanding its footprint with an expansion into Canada. The company is already operating in the US. The company added that it has also had a leadership “refresh.” Zack Levine has been appointed as Head of Revenue for North America (NORAM).
Checkout.com is a global payments platform that supports 145 different currencies, processing “billions” annually. The US is said to be the fastest-growing region for company with 80% year-over-year revenue growth.
Checkout.com noted that Canada is the 27th largest ecommerce market in the world at CAD $52 billion annually. The company pointed to well-known customers like eBay, Klarna, Wise, Sony, and others.
Levine said that with a single integration point, merchants can use their services for online payments via cards, banks, wallets, and other services like PayPal and Venmo.
He said they are “hyper-focused” on best-in-class engagement for the payments industry with high acceptance rates, conversions, uptime, etc.
Antoine Nougue, Chief Commercial Officer of Checkout.com, described Canada as a core region for the firm.
