Digital Assets Firm Copper Teams up with FalconX

Copper announced a partnership with FalconX to integrate ClearLoop into FalconX’s Direct Market Access (DMA) product offering FalconX assets and those of underlying institutional clients.

The integration offers the protections of ClearLoop across ByBit, with Copper’s infrastructure serving “as custodian and collateral manager for FalconX’s client and proprietary assets.”

ClearLoop now enables FalconX clients to “manage collateral and settle trades in near real-time.”

This partnership underscores the commitment to security and efficiency of Copper’s ClearLoop off-exchange settlement functionality, which “provides  protections against exchange insolvency and compromise.”

ClearLoop is a part of Copper Network, “providing access to a large network of centralized exchanges where clients can mitigate counterparty risk with trading and settlement whilst simultaneously enhancing capital efficiency.”

All transactions from trading and settlements “to staking, borrowing and lending take place seamlessly from Copper’s secure MPC custody.”

FalconX aims to elevate the overall trading experience “for institutions by promoting a flexible crypto trading landscape.”

Through this partnership, FalconX clients gain the ability to “access centralized exchange liquidity via ClearLoop and mitigate exchange counterparty and insolvency risk through an institutional-grade interface.”

FalconX’s Direct Market Access offers institutional clients “a way to access centralized exchange liquidity through a single platform, with up to 5x leverage, unified risk management, and real-time settlement transparency.”

The combined capital efficiencies of ClearLoop and FalconX give clients the ability “to cross-margin over multiple venues extracting value from trades while netting risk across multiple exchanges.”

Adam VandenBoogaard, Head of Revenue – Americas at Copper:

“This integration with FalconX enables institutional clients to access Copper’s ClearLoop network and MPC custody while significantly reducing counterparty risk. By combining FalconX’s execution and credit infrastructure with our off-exchange settlement network, we’re helping bring the security and capital efficiency of traditional market structure to digital assets.”

This milestone collaboration highlights the industry’s ability “to work together while upholding the open ethos of blockchain—a core principle that fosters accessibility in digital finance delivering institutional-grade solutions that bridge the gap between traditional finance and crypto.”

Since being founded in 2018, Copper.co claims it has been “building the standard for institutional digital asset infrastructure with a focus on custody and collateral management.”

Underpinned by its technology, Copper says it has built a “suite of products and services required to safely custody and trade digital assets.”

Copper Network is the institutional gateway “to the digital asset ecosystem, offering clients integrated connectivity to market participants through a single platform.”

At the core of Copper’s infrastructure is ClearLoop, which enables clients to manage “collateral and settle trades in near real-time across multiple exchanges while mitigating counterparty risk and increasing capital efficiency.”
