Riskified (NYSE: RSKD), a global enabler of e-commerce fraud and risk intelligence trusted by the world’s largest brands, today announced it has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Retail Competency.
The designation recognizes Riskified’s ability to “meet the bar for performance and security on AWS and for its proven success helping global merchants stop fraud, prevent abuse, and grow revenue with confidence.”
This follows a detailed technical “review aligned with the AWS Well Architected Framework and validation of Riskified’s real-world customer impact.”
It places Riskified in another tier of AWS Partners, a distinction reportedly held by a few partners in the global AWS ecosystem.
Riskified’s advanced machine learning platform, “backed by a 100% chargeback guarantee, delivers real-time, enterprise-grade decisions that unlock revenue while minimizing risk.”
In 2024, Riskified reviewed “over $140 billion in ecommerce transactions across 185 countries, helping merchants increase approval rates, eliminate chargebacks, and reduce friction throughout the customer journey.”
Post-checkout, Riskified uses the same AI approach “to reviewing claims, ensuring frictionless service to good customers while blocking policy abuse.”

This allows retailers to seamlessly purchase and “manage Riskified through their existing AWS account and billing, and it enables eligible customers to use their AWS Enterprise Discount Program (EDP) funds to purchase Riskified, maximizing the value of their cloud investment.”
As a Retail Competency Partner, Riskified gains expanded visibility within the AWS ecosystem and “closer alignment with AWS’s global retail and CPG industry teams, enabling deeper collaboration with the world’s global brands.”
