Hong Kong : Digital Assets Platform HashKey Exchange Extends Compliance Efforts with Elliptic

HashKey Exchange, Hong Kong’s licensed virtual asset exchange,  announced an enhanced collab with Elliptic, a global enabler of  blockchain analytics and compliance solutions.

Building on its compliance and risk management framework, HashKey Exchange is said to be “strengthening its capabilities in anti-money laundering (AML), Know-Your-Transaction (KYT) monitoring, and risk detection, reinforcing its position as a compliance benchmark in the industry.”

Compliance has reportedly been at the “core of HashKey Exchange’s long-term growth strategy.”

In addition to meeting regulatory requirements, the platform integrates Elliptic’s compliance tools “into its operations, enabling dynamic monitoring of on-chain fund flows and delivering stronger safeguards for users.”

Supported by this compliance and risk management infrastructure, HashKey Exchange has “continued to expand.”

According to the latest figures, its cumulative trading volume “surpassed RMB 12 trillion over the past year.”

Operated by Hash Blockchain Limited, it is reportedly “one of the first licensed retail virtual asset exchanges in Hong Kong.”

The platform is regulated “by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), holding Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 7 (Providing Automated Trading Services) licenses under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, as well as a virtual asset trading platform license under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance.”
