Pi Squared, EigenCloud Deepen Validator/Verifier Collaboration

Pi Squared, the team building Web3 infrastructure beyond blockchain, has announced a strategic partnership with EigenCloud, the developer platform that extends the trust and verifiability of blockchains to any application, on or off-chain.

Through this collaboration, Pi Squared will leverage EigenCloud as the default registry platform for validators and verifiers, and EigenDA as the default data availability layer for storing claims, application state, and logic – ensuring that all transactions and claims settled on FastSet are also anchored within EigenDA.

As part of the integration, all protocols developed by Pi Squared will remain fully permissionless, giving developers the freedom to integrate with any operators, stake registration platforms, or data availability services. By default, however, Pi Squared’s tooling will utilize EigenCloud for stake and operator registration and EigenDA for data availability, except in cases where architectural limitations require alternatives. To further accelerate deployment, EigenCloud will provide developer tooling support, ensuring Pi Squared can deliver on its roadmap and scale adoption rapidly.

With throughput exceeding 100,000 transactions per second and finality under 100 milliseconds, Pi Squared’s FastSet protocol unlocks real-time applications at scale for sectors like finance, gaming, and AI. Rather than relying on bridges, centralized intermediaries, or opaque logic, FastSet enables applications, agents and protocols to interact seamlessly across ecosystems, while remaining verifiable by design. Developers are free to build in the languages they already know, including Python, Rust, JavaScript, and C++, without being locked into a single ecosystem. Unlike blockchain’s rigid requirement of total ordering and block creation, FastSet processes independent claims in parallel, providing near-unlimited scalability.

Grigore Roșu, founder and CEO of Pi Squared, said, “This partnership represents a significant seal of approval from yet another industry heavyweight regarding our mission at Pi Squared. Together we are focused on empowering developers with the tooling and primitives needed to unlock new applications, pushing Web3 infrastructure beyond blockchain silos into universal, verifiable systems.”

“We are delighted to partner with Pi Squared, with whom we share a commitment to open, permissionless innovation and building infrastructure that scales trust across crypto and into legacy industries,” added Kydo, general manager of EigenDA and EigenCloud. “We prioritize decentralization as a design principle, ensuring developers and users aren’t locked into rigid systems.”
