Fintech Prometeo says it is poised to offer Agentic Banking in Latin America.
Prometeo is a banking software platform, reporting over 1500 connections to 1200 financial institutions in eleven countries.
The company has announced the launch of its Agentic Banking solution, which is said to operate real-world financial actions autonomously.
Unlike regular AI, Agentic AI may set goals, plans, and execute many different tasks autonomously. Promoteo says that independent actions, such as payments, account validation, and treasury operations, should have full traceability and compliance.

Agentic Banking is available in Mexico, Peru, and Brazil, with Argentina, Colombia, and the United States set to launch in the coming months.
The launch follows Prometeo’s recent rollouts of Borderless Banking and U.S. Account Validation, continuing its trajectory as the infrastructure layer powering cross-border, programmable finance across the Americas.
