OpenAI Introduces ChatGPT Go in Brazil and Partners with Nubank to Enhance UX

OpenAI announced ChatGPT Go in Brazil, a subscription plan intended to give consumers improved access to ChatGPT’s more advanced capabilities with a better package when compared to ChatGPT Plus. The version is said to be a lower-cost alternative between the standard and Plus versions and comes to the market with certain benefits for Nubank (NYSE: NU) clients, who can get an intro offer on a subscription. This is OpenAI’s initial partnership with a financial institution in Brazil.

ChatGPT Go subscribers, including Nubank clients, will be able to gain access to some of ChatGPT’s widely-used features, such as higher message limits, image generation, file uploads, and memory—enabled by GPT-5, which is reportedly OpenAI’s most-advanced model.

ChatGPT reportedly has 50 million monthly active users who are in Brazil, and this plan will allow more to take advantage of AI’s benefits for everyday needs – whether that is for translation purposes, tutoring or teaching, writing, or “how to” guidance.

Aly Ahearn, Vice President of Nubank Ultravioleta, said that by partnering with OpenAI to bring this new product to customers, they are positioning Nubank as a gateway to advancements “that make customers’ lives better and easier.” Offering ChatGPT Go is their way of simplifying “access to  technology and giving back something even valuable to users: time”

To activate the feature, clients need to follow some instructions after heading over to the home screen or in the benefits center of the Nu app, and then go through the registration via the official ChatGPT website.

All other people are now able to visit chat.openai.com or download the ChatGPT mobile app, create an account, and then proceed to select ChatGPT Go as their plan.

Oliver Jay, OpenAI’s International GM, has said that with ChatGPT Go, they’re now making more advanced AI tools available to more people across the globe. Working cooperatively with Nubank helps bring these capabilities to consumers who are residing in Brazil – so anyone, from students to small business owners, “can use AI to make the most of their time and potential.”
