Alpaca is pleased to announce that options trading is integrated with TradingView via their Alpaca Trading API account. This builds on the existing API connection for stocks, ETFs, and crypto, providing users with the flexibility to visualize, analyze, and execute strategies within a common interface. Options pay provide various risk management strategies and different ways to achieve financial targets, which may not be quite possible with more traditional stocks.
With multi-leg options offered for trading, clients are able to build and test strategies such as straddles, iron condor, iron butterflies, and spreads (credit, debit, and calendar), offering coverage with TradingView.
For those interested technical analysis and market insights, TradingView may be a household name. Its track record is said to be built on “a user-friendly interface and a vibrant global community.”
The integration with TradingView goes beyond simple charting, providing an end-to-end trading solution. Once customers have visualized and evaluated a strategy using tools like TradingView’s Strategy Builder, the integration with your Trading API account enables users “to execute that options trade in a frictionless manner.”
