zkVerify has teamed up with Copper, a provider of digital asset custody, prime services and collateral management. This latest collaboration now integrates zkVerify’s proof verification layer into Copper’s custody and settlement infrastructure, with the stated aim of boosting transparency and increasing institutional confidence in digital asset operations.
zkVerify is described as being purpose-built in order to handle the rise of zero-knowledge proofs, allowing for faster, more cost-efficient verification across blockchains, AI ecosystems, and verifiable data. As FIs continue to bridge traditional finance and digital assets, trust, security and compliance remain vital and key priorities.
Copper will now aim to deliver on-chain proof verification for asset custody, movement, settlement, contributing so-called “enterprise-grade” infrastructure to zkVerify’s Proof-of-Stake network, “reinforcing mainnet security and reliability.”
Copper’s Head of Revenue – Americas, Adam VandenBoogaard said that the digital assets company is pleased to be the Day-1 custodial partner for zkVerify.
They added that their specialised Layer-1 blockchain verifies zero-knowledge proofs efficiently, … and “at scale and creates a universal verification layer that supports multiple ecosystems and proof systems.”
Collectively, zkVerify and Copper intend to further strengthen the foundation for more transparent institutional participation in the fast-growing Web3 and blockchain space.
As noted in the update, ,zkVerify is said to be the universal verification layer for zero-knowledge proofs, “enabling millisecond-fast, cost-efficient, and universally compatible proof verification.”
Having been “purpose-built” to handle the rise of proofs across blockchain, AI, and verifiable data, zkVerify provides the infrastructure “for scalable trust in the digital world.”
Since being established back in 2018, Copper.co has been building the standard for institutional digital asset infrastructure with a sharp “focus on custody and collateral management.”
Underpinned by digital technology, Copper explained that it has built up a comprehensive suite of products and services “required to custody and trade digital assets.”
Copper Network is the institutional gateway to the digital asset ecosystem, offering clients “integrated connectivity to hundreds of leading market participants through a single platform.”
At the core of Copper’s infrastructure is ClearLoop, which allows clients to manage collateral and settle trades in “near real-time across exchanges while mitigating counterparty risk and increasing capital efficiency.”
