Taurus Partners with Kaiko to Enable Digital Asset Infrastructure for Institutions

Taurus, a key player focused on digital asset infrastructure for banks and regulated financial institutions, has recently partnered with Kaiko, a global provider of digital asset market data. Via this latest integration, Kaiko’s pricing and liquidity data will be available on the Taurus platform, giving institutions market information to support their digital asset activities.

Kaiko sources and standardizes data from 100+ centralized and decentralized venues. Consolidated data reduces the need for institutions “to build and maintain multiple connections to fragmented sources, which lowers operational costs, improves valuation processes, strengthens compliance frameworks.”

Victor Busson, CMO at Taurus said that at Taurus, tjey are “committed to giving financial institutions the strongest possible foundation for their digital asset strategies.”

Busson has added that with Kaiko’s data services integrated into their platform, clients gain direct “access to market information that improves transparency and supports their compliance requirements.”

Elodie De Marchi, COO at Kaiko, stated that market data is “the foundation of every digital asset transaction.”

By partnering with Taurus, they are embedding their “data into a trusted infrastructure already used by banks and financial institutions.”

Together, they are enabling the industry to move “forward with the transparency and standards it requires.”

Established back in 2018, Taurus is a Switzerland-based financial technology company providing “enterprise-grade digital asset infrastructure, with 13 offices around the world.”

It offers services for issuing, storing, and trading all types “of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, and digital currencies.”

In addition to this, Taurus explains that it currently operates a marketplace for private assets and tokenized securities and is a securities firm “regulated and supervised” by FINMA.

As mentioned in a release, Kaiko is the global independent provider of digital asset market data, analytics, crypto indices, and pricing “for institutional investors, financial services firms, and regulators.”

Kaiko offers the foundational data infrastructure that “bridges traditional finance and on-chain capital markets through regulatory-compliant and auditable data.”

For more than 10 years, Kaiko has reportedly delivered the so-called actionable financial data that institutions “need to navigate both centralized and decentralized digital asset markets.”
