TruFin has received a strategic investment led by SC Ventures (Standard Chartered) with participation from FalconX and Road Capital. The details of the investment were not immeidately available.
TruFin is a digital asset firm that is targeting onchain yield for institutions.
TruFin explains that institutional interest in onchain yield is rising, but these entities demand defined governance, institutional-grade security, and transparent, controlled workflows. TruFin states that it is building an infrastructure layer and standardised approach that institutions can rely on to access and manage onchain yield.
Matt Molloy, CEO and co-Founder of TruFin, said there is growing demand for their service and the investment supports their mission to establish an onchain yeild standard.
Harald Eltvedt, head of Venture Building at SC Ventures, added that TruFin complements their growing digital asset ecosystem and the company boosts the regulated infrastructure needed.
“Our investment underscores our belief that enterprise-grade Defi Vaults, like TruFin, will not only define the standard for institutional yield, but will also reinforce the role of our digital assets portfolio as the bridge between regulated banking and the next generation of onchain finance.”
TruFin supports staking, but reports that it is expanding into multiple yield verticals including curated vault strategies and tokenised real world assets. TruFin is build on Solana.
