Stablecoin Platform Confirmo Approved by Central Bank of Ireland

Stablecoin platform Confirmo has been approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Confirmo is now a fully regulated operational hub for the company’s entire European business. Under EEA passporting rules, the license grants Confirmo the right to offer its services across all 27 EU member states.

Confirmo was previously approved in 2025 under the European MiCA regulations and authorized as a CASP

The company will now be able to execute payment transactions as an authorized Payment Institution, enabling it to process regulated stablecoin payments across Europe.

Anna Štrébl, CEO of Confirmo Group, said that they have spent over 12 years building crypto payment infrastructure and their dual authorization means they are fully regulated in Europe, enabling enterprise level stablecoin payments. She noted that as of July 1st, the market will separate into two groups – those fully licensed in the EU under MiCA and those who are not. Those not approved must cease operations.

“The window for businesses to ensure their payment rails are fully compliant is narrowing fast, and we built Confirmo to be the partner that businesses can depend on when it matters most.”

Confirmo’s platform allows customers to compliantly send, receive, and settle payments in leading stablecoins across major blockchain networks, with fiat conversion and accounting-ready reporting.
