Trumid, a financial technology firm and electronic marketplace for fixed-income securities, has unveiled Trumid Smart Voice, an AI-driven feature that advances its commitment to targeted artificial intelligence integration in credit trading operations. This latest capability instantly transforms spoken or written client interactions into complete, ready-to-submit trade orders, delivering measurable gains in speed and accuracy for participants across the credit desk.
The tool automates the extraction of essential trade information from informal, often disjointed discussions, populating order forms with precision while keeping traders and salespeople firmly in control.
By blending intelligent processing with manual review, it removes the need for tedious data entry, cuts down on mistakes, and shortens the interval between dialogue and final execution.
Trumid has simultaneously introduced Trumid Smart Swap, which applies the same streamlined approach to swap transactions.
Since its rollout, the combined features have already supported more than $56 billion in transaction volume and saved users an estimated 77,000 repetitive mouse clicks and keystrokes.
The development builds directly on Trumid’s long-standing efforts to modernize traditional voice-based trading.
For nearly seven years, the platform has employed its proprietary Attributed Trading system and embedded voice tools to facilitate transparent, two-party deals that maintain the personal relationships central to credit markets.
Jason Quinn, Chief Product Officer and Global Head of Sales at Trumid, highlighted the practical focus behind the innovation.
He noted that Smart Voice embeds AI straight into daily workflows, rapidly converting client exchanges into accurate, actionable tickets.
The design prioritizes real-world problem-solving by reducing routine labor, lowering error potential, and allowing professionals to concentrate on strategic choices instead of administrative repetition.
Quinn emphasized that the system captures critical elements from live conversations, enabling faster progression from talk to trade.
Smart Voice leverages advanced large language models to analyze intricate trading dialogues, pinpointing details such as counterparty identities, specific securities, quantities, and buy or sell directions.
Users simply paste conversation transcripts into the interface; the system then generates a pre-filled ticket that undergoes standard platform checks, approvals, and secure archiving before submission.
This ensures consistency with all other Trumid executions.
The feature was conceived and deployed in a matter of weeks, underscoring the company’s nimble product development process and tight partnerships with clients.
It first appeared in December 2025 for dealer sales teams via Trumid Link, the dedicated application that gives sales professionals a consolidated dashboard of client activity, opportunity sourcing, efficient routing, and live negotiation tracking.
Availability has since broadened to include sell-side traders and buy-side counterparties, widening its impact across the ecosystem.
The launch reflects Trumid’s sustained investment in AI and machine learning, aimed at weaving intelligent automation seamlessly into its core platform.
By addressing genuine pain points in credit trading, the company continues to refine a unified environment that merges cutting-edge technology with deep market knowledge.
As covered, Trumid specializes in electronic trading of US dollar-denominated investment-grade, high-yield, distressed, and emerging-market bonds. Its ecosystem of protocols and solutions is engineered for simplicity and efficiency, delivering an intuitive experience that prioritizes both innovation and user needs.
