Data Automation Platform Xceptor Broadens SaaS Reach to Switzerland and Japan

Xceptor, a provider of data automation tools tailored for capital markets, has expanded its cloud-based software delivery model by introducing sovereign-grade Software-as-a-Service options in Switzerland and Japan. This development addresses the heightened needs of financial organizations in these regulated environments, where strict rules govern data location and technology partnerships.

The company highlighted that institutions in Switzerland and Japan frequently face complex requirements around keeping sensitive information within national borders and adhering to outsourcing restrictions.

By establishing dedicated hosting zones in these countries, Xceptor enables clients to streamline essential workflows—such as data handling, artificial intelligence applications, and trade confirmation processes—while keeping information securely stored in preferred local areas.

Dan Reid, the firm’s Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, described the initiative as a key step in the company’s broader international cloud strategy, designed to assist customers no matter their geographic footprint.

This rollout aligns with a wider industry shift toward cloud-hosted systems in capital markets.

Organizations already using Xceptor’s managed service process enormous volumes of information, including billions of data rows, terabytes of incoming material, and more than 70,000 secure file transfers monthly.

The platform also manages over one million client emails each week.

Such capacity is supported by strong uptime guarantees and isolated, protected client spaces, allowing firms to advance automation projects without compromising the high standards of security, reliability, and compliance demanded in the sector.

Reid further noted that rising pressures from regulations, daily operations, and technology demands are driving greater adoption of managed cloud solutions across the industry.

With infrastructure oversight and ongoing software enhancements handled by Xceptor, institutions can more readily address evolving challenges, cope with expanding data loads, and integrate artificial intelligence tools under existing oversight structures—all while achieving results more quickly.

The service runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, with hosting previously available across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions.

The addition of specialized zones in Switzerland and Japan strengthens this footprint.

The platform carries ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications, and Xceptor assumes responsibility for updates, security improvements, and system monitoring.

This arrangement removes the expense and effort of periodic upgrades and lessens dependence on internal infrastructure specialists.

Xceptor serves more than 100 organizations and over 11,500 users spanning 60 countries.

Its adaptable platform supports specialized tools for tax processing, data matching, and post-trade activities, helping business teams gain better control over information flows and reduce operational risks through intelligent automation.

The expansion underscores Xceptor’s commitment to meeting regional needs while maintaining global capabilities. Financial firms seeking compliant, scalable automation now have additional options that respect local sovereignty rules without sacrificing performance or innovation potential.
