Ground Joins CCI’s Vault Coalition, Blockchain Association to Better Engage on Digital Asset Policy

Ground says it is joining two digital asset industry advocacy groups: the Blockchain Association and CCI’s Vault Coalition.

The Vault Coalition was launched on June 5, 2026, by the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI). Its goal is to clarify U.S. rules for onchain vaults—smart-contract products that pool deposited crypto, generate yield, and issue a transferable “receipt” token for each depositor’s share.

CCI said deposits in these entities grew from about $24 billion in April 2023 to $131 billion in April 2026.

The Blockchain Association has operated since 2018 as the “unified voice for the crypto industry.” The group claims over 100 member firms.

Ground, which emerged from stealth earlier this year, is a cash management platform for stablecoins that sweeps assets into yield-generating products. It works with both traditional and Fintech firms.

Ground is joining advocacy groups at a key moment as regulators propose new digital asset rules and the CLARITY Act, crypto infrastructure legislation, is pending in the US Senate.

Stephanie Vaughan, COO of Ground, says the Vault Coalition emerged because tokenized assets have grown while policy frameworks have fallen behind.

…closing that gap takes participants who can speak to both the technical structure and the institutional use case. Ground brings both, and we are glad to have them formalizing their role in the coalition.”

Rashan Colbert, Director of U.S. Policy for CCI, says regulatory ambiguity is the single biggest reason blockchain tech has yet to scale.

“We see it in every client conversation. The way forward is careful, technically grounded work developed with top industry members alongside regulators, not against them, and that is exactly what the Vault Coalition is set up to do.”

Over time, TradFi will join modern platforms to leverage the benefits of digital assets, including real-world assets. Intrinsic friction will be reduced within current financial services to provide better, less costly products available to all consumers and businesses. While traditional finance has been hesitant to participate, regulatory clarity will open the door for further acceptance and participation.
