Michael Saylor, Chairman of Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) says his company is buying Bitcoin again.
In a post on X, Saylor said Strategy has acquired 4,603 BTC for $370M. At the same time, he said that cash has increased by $29 million and that share repurchases have increased by $ 152 million.
“As of 8/30/26, we hold 845,050 $BTC and $6.71B of USD Assets, bringing Net Leverage to 0.0%. $MSTR”
This was the first Bitcoin purchase in around ten weeks.
Strategy actually sold 1,690 BTC for $108.6 million on August 10th.
2026 Bitcoin sales totaled around 6,948 BTC and were used mainly for preferred-stock dividends and share buybacks.
The average purchase price for this past week’s purchases was $80,318 per Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is currently trading around $78,242.
In the past few weeks, Strategy shares have moved higher. Its 52-week low is around $81, and its 52-week high is approximately $365. The digital asset treasury firm’s share price is directly tied to Bitcoin.
