Copenhagen’s Fintech Startup ReBloom Reports €400k Pre-Seed Round

Copenhagen-based Fintech startup ReBloom has secured a €400k pre-Seed round to fuel its growth, just three months after its founding.

The company aims to democratize access to unlisted stocks through its AI-driven platform, enabling investors to trade shares in private companies like SpaceX, Revolut, and Bolt.

As first reported by EU Startups, ReBloom’s platform leverages AI to match users with investment opportunities based on their risk profile and financial goals.

The technology also simplifies the investment process, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

According to the company, this addresses a long-standing issue in the investment world, where private secondary markets have traditionally been exclusive and inaccessible to many investors.

ReBloom’s CEO, Camilla Molina Nysum, recognized these barriers firsthand as a seasoned investor.

She noted that public stock markets have become widely accessible over the past decades, but the private market for unlisted shares remains inaccessible unless you know the right people and are willing to pay high transaction fees.

Nysum emphasized that ReBloom’s mission is to standardize and make the private market investable for both private and institutional investors.

The company’s achievement is notable, especially considering that only 2% of venture capital is allocated to female-founded startups.

The funding comes at a time when the startup ecosystem is facing tough challenges, with many struggling to secure investment. ReBloom plans to use the fresh capital to enhance its platform’s capabilities and expand its reach.

The growing trend of delayed IPOs is further fueling the need for secondary trading solutions.

According to market data, the secondary market is set to triple over the next seven years as private companies stay off public exchanges for longer.

ReBloom aims to provide much-needed liquidity to investors who previously lacked efficient ways to enter this space.

Nysum explained that ReBloom’s platform solves the problem of inaccessible private markets by providing investors with the necessary tools to participate.

She emphasized that the company’s AI-driven approach prioritizes investors’ needs and puts the power back in their hands.

As former investors, Nysum and her co-founder, Daniel Abdulla Bobruk, personally struggled with the difficulties of accessing the private market.

They saw a gap in the market and used their technological expertise to build a platform that they believe will transform the entire industry.

ReBloom’s pre-seed funding round marks a significant milestone for the company, demonstrating its potential to capitalize on the growing demand for secondary trading solutions.

With its AI-driven approach and commitment to breaking down barriers in private trading, ReBloom says it is positioned to make a meaningful impact in the investment world.

However, it is imperative to be aware of the different challenges and risks associated with ReBloom’s business model, including compliance, market uncertainty, and competition from established players.
