The Mortgage Finance Gazette Awards 2014 have recognized peer-to-peer crowdfunding platform LendInvest for their Innovation Award giving the platform a “Highly Commended” acknowledgement. LendInvest was the only p2p site listed for all of the various categories.
The Mortgage Finance Gazette Awards are split into two categories. The first section is for nominated organisations who are voted for by a judging panel while the product provider section is compiled by independent research company. The awards were hosted by TLT solicitors in the City of London.
LendInvest is the first p2p platform in the United Kingdom specifically for residential and commercial mortgages. The platform has completed almost £14 Million in loans since the site was launched. They are also members of the Peer-to-Peer Finance Association joining other p2p leaders such as Zopa and Funding Circle as part of a larger movement to innovate the lending industry in the United Kingdom.
