Payments Association Selects New CEO

The Payments Association has appointed a new CEO. According to a statement from the organization, Emma Banymandhub will step into the leadership role following her position as the association’s Chief Operating Officer.

Banymandhub said that payments are more than transactions, adding she is honored to lead the next phase of growth.

The 18-year-old UK-based association that reports over 250 members says the shift is part of a larger goal of international expansion.

Last year, Nineteen Group, an events entity, invested in the association. Lison Jackson, CEO of Nineteen Group, said Banymandhub will support a foundation for future growth.

Her mandate is to export The Payments Association’s model to international markets while maintaining its influence on domestic policy.

Since joining The Payments Association as COO, Banymandhub led the growth of PAY360 – now the UK’s largest payments-focused event.
