Digital asset firm tZERO is partnering with the Goldman Sachs Financial Square Treasury Instruments Fund (FTIXX).
The relationship will enable tZERO to support the regulated distribution of an existing Treasury money-market fund on a crypto institutional settlement network.
FTIXX is a $100 billion government money-market fund that is now available to qualified US clients on Lynq, a permissioned Avalanche L1 settlement network built by Arca Labs, Tassat, and tZERO.
While not a tokenization of the fund, it is a win for tZERO as it uses Lynq for distribution and management.
tZERO says the arrangement is another example of the convergence of digital and traditional markets.
