EstateGuru, an online investment platform focused on secured debt offerings, says its relatively new EstateGuru Grow offering has grown from zero to €7 million invested in one year.
In a blog post, EstateGuru shared that the service has grown every quarter. The company accepts investments as low as €100 and generates a yield of around 7%, paid monthly. The portfolio holds real estate-backed loans, and any delayed payments are said to be covered by a “contingency reserve.” These are short-duration debt instruments, with the loan-to-value ratio not exceeding 69% when the loan is listed, and the loan term may be no longer than 18 months.
EstateGuru, based in Tallinn, has operated since 2014 and provides services in various European countries.
The company reports that since its inception, it has lent over €968 million with an average return for investors of 9.32%. It also operates a secondary marketplace for investors to trade the loans.
