Scandinavian Child Raising $2 Million on I-Bankers Direct Funding Platform

Scandinavian Child is raising funds to expand its proprietary product line, increase marketing, and secure US and international distribution for additional high-end juvenile products.

Scandinavian Child focuses on bringing high quality, durable children’s products to discerning parents in North America, Europe and Asia. The company manufactures its own line of products, including its signature Svan highchairs, and also distributes a Nancy Rosenzweigrange of innovative, long-lasting products designed for infants, toddlers and adolescents. The company is led by a new, experienced, product-driven management team. The CEO, Nancy Rosenzweig, is the former CEO of Natural Dentist and the former Chief Marketing Officer of Tom’s of Maine, Bright Horizons and Zipcar.

“We’re happy to be working with the new I-Bankers Direct online platform and providing accredited investors with the chance to participate in this opportunity alongside Generation Equity Investors, an experienced private equity firm that is leading this investment round,” stated Rosenzweig.

Scandinavian Child recently secured two new and exclusive distribution agreements with established European brands and is also preparing to introduce the industry’s first “Cradle-to-Cradle” certified products. Cradle-to-Cradle (also referred to as C2C) is a design and manufacturing framework focused on material safety and sustainability. C2C certification has proven very beneficial for firms in other industries, such as Herman Miller.

John KallassyPremium and luxury durable goods account for 20-25% of the overall juvenile market, translating to an addressable market of approximately $3 billion for Scandinavian Child.
