Yes it was inevitable. Snoop Dog (AKA Snoop Lion – according to his website), a well known crowdfunding proponent, as well as being a rapper and YouTube star, is crowdfunding on Crowdtilt. It’s possible that he was in the Rose Garden during the signing of the JOBS Act.
The eloquent Snoop has launched a T-shirt crowdfunding campaign on CrowdTilt to offer up a limited edition Snoop Dogg shirt in honor of his just released GNN episode with his mate Seth Rogen. The shirt will only be sold for 10 days and is most certainly destined to be a collectors item. The T-Shirt is called Game of Cones. I am not really certain why it’s called that and I watched the entire YouTube episode. Seth and Snoop laughed a lot though and I learned about the origin of “Chronic”.
CrowdTilt CEO James Beshara, BFF of Snoop Dogg, also got into the act by adding his star power to the crowdfunding campaign. I think he was at the filming of the GNN episode too – laughing off screen.
