Brief: Crowdfunding Platform Tilt Launches New Hosting Event Feature

Last week, crowdfunding platform Tilt announced the launch of its new event hosting feature, Ticketing With Tilt.

tiltCo-founder and CEO of Tilt, James Beshara, stated Ticketing With Tilt gives users the ability to automatically issue tickets with a QR code, which will quickly check in attendees tickets, issue refunds, and allow ticket transfers easier. Beshara revealed:

With Tilt’s all-or-nothing approach, your event is only confirmed once a minimum number of tickets have been sold. Until this number is hit, no one will get charged for their purchase. While this approach is totally optional, it can help you minimize risks and ensure you always break-even. If you like, you can also set a maximum number of tickets available (comes in handy if your venue has a maximum capacity).”

Nicholas Dale of All Axcess reportedly commented on the new feature:

“Tilt Ticketing’s QR code scanning is efficient and intuitive for the organizer and the contributor. Checking in attendees to events has never been easier using the scanning feature, as well as having real-time attendee search capability and ticket metrics accessible through the Tilt mobile app.”

Ticketing With Tilt is available for event organizers in all of Tilt’s supporting countries (U.S., Canada, UK, Australia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, France, and Ireland). The news of Ticketing With Tilt comes just a little over a month after Tilt launched its peer-to-peer lending feature, Request and Money, which allows for free, secure and automatic payments on iOS and Android devices.
