Good Fit: BCN Shoemakers Les Chausseurs Campaign on Crowdcube Spain, Quickly Hits 50%

Barcelona-based cobblers Les Chausseurs launched their crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube Spain earlier last week and have already taken in more than 50,600€ of its 90K€ objective from over 27 investors. 20% equity is being offered.

les-chausseursLes Chausseurs was founded in the Gracià neighborhood of Barcelona 2013 by Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne alum Perera Cortes.  Perera Cortes has experience at a variety of fashion houses including BaronBaronne, Saint Laurent and Lanvin, while Les Chausseurs shoes have been shown in Berlin, London,  Madrid, Barcelona, Seoul, Tokyo and this past week at Paris Fashion Week. Since September 2015, Les Chausseurs has sold more than 6,000 pairs of shoes.

Funding from the campaign will be used for marketing to position the brand better globally and online, for the creation of the new line of entry level footwear and sneakers and opening a second store in Barcelona. Les Chausseurs plans an expansion from Gracià to Barcelona Centre, Madrid and probably Sant Sebastian, with sights on ultimately franchising the brand on a national level.
