Biscuiteers Surpasses £550,000 Crowdcube Goal & Receives Triple Gold Rating From Crowdrating

Online retailer of handmade biscuits, Biscuiteers, has successfully secured its initial £550,000 funding target on equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube. The company, which was founded in 2007, has created a wide range of products including biscuits, chocolates, cakes, personalized items, wedding treats and corporate gifts. It has two biscuit icing cafes in London and Battersea and operates out of two industrial bakeries that are located in South London.

biscuiteersBiscuiteers products are stocked at some retailers such as John Lewis, Selfridges, and Fortnum & Mason. The company has also made biscuits for well-known brands such as Cartier, Christian Dior, and Net a Porter. It also noted that it has 100,000 customers in almost 100 countries throughout the world.

Biscuiteers was one of the first companies in the UK to offer luxurious collections of hand-iced biscuits to send as gifts. With exceptional packaging and a range of constantly changing seasonal collections, Biscuiteers believe they’ve created a whole new sector in the premium gift market.”

biscuiteers-1The company is seeking funds as part of its plan to accelerate business growth. In a recent update, the Biscuiteers’ crew revealed they have received a triple gold rating from Crowdratings:

“We are delighted to say that Crowdrating.co.uk the independent crowd funding rating business has just awarded Biscuiteers with a triple gold rating. This is their top rating and we are currently the only live campaign to achieve this status.”

Biscuiteers is set to host its second investor event this evening in its Notting Hill icing cafe. The campaign will close at the beginning of November.
