BrewDog Prepares for Columbus Brewery Hiring Process

BrewDog recently announced it is officially preparing the hiring process for its new Columbus, Ohio brewery. The brewing company revealed it would be hosting a two-day Open House at the facility on December 5th and 6th.

brewdog-punk-ipa-2The BrewDog team revealed:

“Since we first set foot in the Discovery city, a continual theme has run through our fledgling operations there; the incredible welcome we have received from the people of Ohio and the Columbus area. It blew us away from day one onwards. A related theme is that we cannot wait to get our brewery operational to repay that kindness with freshly-brewed BrewDog craft beer.”

The crew also noted that each day of the Open House would have a different theme as they look to fill the positions. On the 5th, they will be concentrating on the BrewDog Taproom, so they will be looking for attendees who are looking to serve beer and food to guests. On the 6th, the team will be looking for those who have production experience in the brewing industry to fill various roles like senior brewer, brewers, lab technicians, lab managers, packaging managers and operators, engineers, warehouse operatives, and forklift drivers.

They went on to add:

Brewdog“We often get asked what working for BrewDog is like, and the inauguration of BrewDog Columbus is the perfect example. You have to live and breathe craft beer, of course, but over and above that you would need to embrace every aspect of the BrewDog charter. As we are building our American brewhouse from the ground up (literally) this is a once in a lifetime chance to be a part of something at the outset that will go on to become something truly incredible. Although the individual jobs are highly specialised and focused, with the size of our Ohio project everyone who ends up working for BrewDog USA will have to be able to help out where needed. So we are majoring in the enthusiasm and adaptability of potential employees, and their famed American ‘can do’ attitude!”

Note, the brewery will not be interviewing on the Open House dates. The event is being held for those who are looking to introduce their skills and to learn more about BrewDog’s Columbus plans.
