Mambu Selects Chiou-Hao Chan to Set Up New Singapore Office

Mambu, the SaaS banking platform provider, announced the opening of its first office in the APAC region. Mambu’s APAC clients are spread across China and South East Asia as well as Australia and New Zealand, accounting for nearly a third of the company’s total business to date.

Eugene Danilkis“We chose Singapore as the location for our APAC office as the region is seeing tremendous growth in fintech, banking innovation and MSME financing,” indicated Mambu CEO Eugene Danilkis. “Chiou’s appointment strengthens our presence in the area as he understands the challenges clients in the region face and the opportunities afforded by the next wave of digital banking.”

As  Singapore has grown to become a key fintech hub, Mambu’s new office was a natural progression, allow the platform to improve its service coverage and support for its rapidly growing customer base in the region which include lending, telco and other and financial institutions. The new office in Singapore will headed up by Chiou-Hao who recently joined the company as their new regional head. The office reflects Mambu’s expansion and commitment to existing clients in the region whilst supporting ongoing plans for growth.

In addition to founding two venture capital backed Internet companies which were eventually acquired, Chiou-Hao has over 17 years of sales and marketing experience having worked with companies including Salesforce.com, Opentext, QlikTech and SumTotal Systems.
