Earlier this week, Indiegogo success TrackR announced it formed a partnership with family safety assistant app, GeoZilla for a family radar feature. The companies revealed consumers simply connect its products to GeoZilla and add family items such as car keys, pets, remotes, and backpacks on its family radar.

trackr-1Once TrackR is paired with the GeoZilla app, users will have all functionality of the TrackR app within GeoZilla. They can find items, make the TrackR ring and use Crowd GPS without having to toggle back and forth between the two apps. Igor Gonebnyy, CEO of GeoZilla, stated:

“With this partnership we want to help families relieve the stress of having to constantly think where their valuables are. You have all of them on the map, as well as your family. Left your wallet at home? Ping whomever is at home via GeoZilla to get it for you.”

Chris Herbert, CEO and Co-founder of TrackR, added:

“The team at GeoZilla does family location extremely well, which is why we are so excited to partner with them. No one is busier or has more stuff to keep track of than families; this integration will allow them to focus on more important things while we stay on top of where their important belongings are.”

trackr-3TrackR also announced the launch of two new form factors, TrackR Pixel and TrackR Wallet 2.0, which will both work with the in-home Bluetooth/WiFi platform, TrackR Atlas. GeoZilla is also planning to work with TrackR on the form factors. TrackR has so far shipped 4.5 million devices to date, while GeoZilla is offering its free family location platform to over half a million families worldwide. The full integration will roll out by Spring 2017.

TrackR made headlines in Summer 2014 when its popular product, TrackR Bravo, secured over $1.7 million through its Indiegogo campaign. The tracking device offers users a piece of mind when it comes to losing items by keeping track of all items through a utilized interconnected network and a connected app. TrackR is backed by The Foundry Group, Resolute Ventures, IncWell Capital, Amazon Alexa Fund, and Orange Fab.
