Self described as the Oscars of the Start Up & Tech World, TechCrunch’s 6th annual Crunchies Awards includes two leading crowdfunding sites: both Kickstarter and Indiegogo are on the list as nominees for the Biggest Social Impact for 2012. CrowdTilt is another crowdfunding site which is up for the Crunchie award as Best New Start-Up of 2012.
The Crunchies, co-hosted by GigaOm, VentureBeat, and TechCrunch, will take place on Thursday, January 13th in San Francisco at the Davies Symphony Hall. Tickets are available online at Eventbrite.
