Crowdcube has released they have raised almost £1 Million in equity funding in April. Four crowdunding companies were raising funds to achieve this level.
East End Manufacturing – A clothing manufacturer located in East London raised £150,000
The RushMore Group – A parent company for several restaurants raised £500,000
GLOBALDRUM – a mobile to mobile social community builder for enterprises and their customers raised £125,000
Flossonic – A toothbrush that flosses while brushing raised £150,000
With the month of April not quite finished there remains plenty of time for UK based Crowdcube to raise more capital for other businesses on listed on their site to push beyond the £1 Million mark.
Crowdcube currently has posted on their site just under £5.8 Million since the inception of their platform in 2010. They list 33,386 registered investors.
Crowdcube continues to offer a very diverse portfolio of enterprises which are leveraging crowdfunding to finance their small business or start up. Equity crowdfunding has been embraced in the UK as a natural evolution in fundraising for businesses and associated job creation.
