Jon Lajoie is probably best known for his role on TV’s The League. He has now launched a fake crowdfunding page soliciting fake donations in order to “acquire massive wealth.” It’s a (pretty hilarious) tongue-in-cheek parody of celebrity-powered crowdfunding campaigns. He specifically takes shots at obvious targets Zack Braff and Rob Thomas. Fair warning, the video is probably NSFW.
You can see the campaign page by clicking here. He’s already passed the $11 billion mark in fake donations, making this the most successful fake crowdfunding project in history. Congrats or something!
