Crowdcube has racked up or been short listed for numerous awards these past months. It appears they are in the running for another top spot in the UK’s National Business Awards. Crowdcube is one of ten businesses up for the “New Business of The Year” award.
The National Business Awards is an impressive accolade and industries from all sectors participate in the recognition process. Now entering their 12th year, the Awards connect the UK’s business leaders through its annual ceremony and year-round 
thought leadership programme to celebrate enterprise excellence.
Any company within the UK, whether public or private, may enter the National Business Awards. This is regardless of industry or size of business.
The criteria to be selected as an entry for New Business of the Year is as follows:
- Trading for less than 3 years
- Significant growth or expansion
- Potential for sustained growth
- Innovation in products, services or processes
- Customer and staff engagement
- Effective leadership and management
- An ethical approach to business
- Strong business results
- Market penetration
Over 150 business have been listed as finalists for 2013. The actual ceremony will take place in London later this year on November 12th.
