First Annual Crowdfundie Awards Set to Premier at Global Crowdfunding Convention & Bootcamp

Crowdfunding Roadmap ConventionThe 2nd Annual Global Crowdfunding Convention and & Bootcamp, organized by Crowdfunding Roadmap, is preparing to host their 2nd annual event on October 14 through 16th in Las Vegas.  As part of the popular gathering the first Annual Crowdfundie Awards will be announced recognizing some of the most accomplished participants in the crowdfunding industry today.

Crowdfunding Roadmap has also announced that Crowdfunding4All (C4ALL) has been selected to aid in the voting and search function for the 2014 Awards which will kick off at the event.

Ruth Hedges“At this year’s Convention, we’ll be announcing the industry’s first ever CrowdFundie Award winners and recognize successful Crowdfunding at its best across a variety of categories including Charitable Causes, Products, Music and Technology,” said Event Creator and Executive Producer, Ruth E. Hedges. “Now, with the addition of the ‘Funders’ Choice’ voting process, the Crowd itself will determine a nominee in each category of the 2014 Awards. CF4ALL’s unique, cross-platform search and social currency for the Crowdfunding industry made it the logical choice to serve as the official voting hub for the Funder’s Choice nominees.”

Throughout the three day long event, attendees will be able to use CF4ALL’s Crowd-Powered Search Engine to find and compare projects from among the event’s sponsoring Crowdfunding Platforms. Attendees will then use CF4ALL’s exclusive CrowdCredits™social currency to vote for their favorite projects. Projects with the highest number of CrowdCredits will be featured as Trending Projects on the CF4ALL home page which will be displayed on giant screens above the main stage.

CF4AllThe Convention’s Platform sponsors’ projects will be the first eligible to receive Funder’s Choice nominees.  Attendees will be among the first CF4ALL users to be able to earn and use CrowdCredits to nominate the projects they believe deserve to be Funders’ Choice nominees for next year’s CrowdFundie Awards. The more CrowdCredits a project receives, the higher it will appear in the CF4ALL search result rankings.

“We’re excited to be a sponsor of the Crowdfunding industry’s premier event,” CF4ALL Founder and President, Peter M. Einstein explained. “It’s an honor to have the CF4ALL Crowd-Powered Search Engine and CrowdCredits social currency selected as the enabling technology for this groundbreaking award nomination process.”

“CF4ALL was originally designed to level the playing field for projects that don’t automatically start out with a large crowd behind them, ” says Einstein.  “And that fits right in with Ruth’s idea of using it to identify and vote for the Funders’ Choice nominations.”

The event takes place October 14-16 and will be held at the M Resort Spa & Casino in Las Vegas.
