Crowdfuture 2013 is set to commence on October 19th in Rome as embraces the power of crowdfunding.
The day will start with Ivana Pais and Daniela Castrataro of the Italian Crowdfunding Network presenting the latest report on the Italian crowdfunding market. Attendees will hear about the state of crowdfunding in Italy and learn about some of the over 40 platforms now live which is 4 times the number of last year.
Italy has created specific legislation to accommodate equity crowdfunding and a significant portion of the conference will be dedicated to this important topic.
Some of the speakers include Kevin Miller from RunRev who raised over £490,000 on Kickstarter for is Edinburgh based software company. Following the keynote there will be different conference tracks including:
- Gamification
- Civic
- EU Regulation,
- Legal Issues in Italy.
Luke Lang, CEO and co-founder from Crowdcube, will make a final keynote, and as one of the world’s most experienced equity crowdfunding entrepreneurs.
