CannaProposals is launching a crowdfunding campaign on FunderHut whose purpose is to increase access to state-regulated marijuana dispensaries by simplifying the rigorous application process necessary to obtain a medical marijuana dispensary license in the United States. The crowdfunding campaign is looking to raise $150,000 over the next few weeks.
Founder Michael McGahey states, “Over the years I have seen many of my friends and family suffer from debilitating diseases such as cancer and glaucoma and I know that they […] could have benefited from this miracle of a drug called marijuana. However, it wasn’t legal.”
“But, it’s happening now,” McGahey continues, “I decided to put together a team of experts to prepare a document package that can be used by anyone to put together their application for a medical marijuana dispensary permit.
“It’s a complex process that shouldn’t be complex. Yes, you should be knowledgeable. Yes, you should understand the risks. Yes, Yes, Yes. You should understand everything. You should be a smart business person.
“However, the states require these supporting [application] documents, with anywhere from 300-400 pages of specific information, detailed from seed to sale […] from cultivations practices, strains, community involvement, security, human resources.”
“I’m going to all that together for you in this document,” says McGahey. “You’re going to have it. You’ll need to add resumes and business plans. We do have a very comprehensive financial plan included in the package.”
In a gracious plea, McGahey says, “I am asking you to support us by donating and helping us create a document that can be used by a diverse group of people to provide compassionate support to people in need.”
CannaProposals is offering rewards such as custom Bracelets, Hemp T-shirts and Dispensary Templates as an offer of “kudos” to those who contribute during the campaign.
