Jamie Siminoff, inventor of the DoorBot and founder of crowdfunding platform Christie Street, appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank over the weekend. In the end only one shark was interested in providing capital for Siminoff and his product, which is set to appear in Staples stores this month. That shark was Kevin O’Leary, but after a bit of back and forth they were unable to come to a deal. Watch below to see the offer and Siminoff’s counter offer. It takes guts to turn down the sharks, but Siminoff did just that.
