Lend Academy’s Peter Renton shared stats from Lending Club and Prosper for the month of November.
It should be no surprise that Lending Club continues to grow, issuing $280 million in new loans in the month of November. They issued just short of $100 million in November of 2012, representing ~180% year-over-year growth.
Lending Club has also crossed $3 billion in total loans issued since inception. Note that at their current pace, they’re set to match that $3 billion next year alone.
Prosper issued $46 million in loans in November, just a little less than the roughly $50 million in loans issued in October. (October had 23 business days and November had 19, which contributed to the regression.)
