For those of you who feel a need to be connected at all times and anywhere, the Vybe bracelet is for you. The organizers have been running a self-crowdfunding campaign using Crowdhoster which is part of the CrowdTilt portfolio.
This pretail campaign was originally scheduled to end in November but has continued to generate orders with a confirmed shipping date of February 28 2014.
The campaign recently indicated that after receiving many requests the product creators have decided to 
make the wearable tech waterproof. Now you can be notified of incoming calls, texts and alerts even when doing laps at the local pools.
To date the campaign has raised over $88,000 on a posted goal of $43,000. They have generated 1726 orders of the product. The device works with both iPhone and Android smartphones.
