Indiegogo has been hosting a series of training sessions using Google Hangout. These informative gatherings have been hosted by Indiegogo’s own John Trigonis who also is their film champion. The next session scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday, January 22nd @ 12pm PST) is about campaign follow up. Basically everything you have to do after your campaign has closed, the celebration is over and now you have to execute on providing rewards and maintaining regular communication along with transparency. As we all know – if campaign communication goes dark backers quickly get very upset.

Trigonis, Indiegogo Team Member and one-man consulting machine, who has worked with numerous filmmakers worldwide to create compelling crowdfunding campaigns that not only reach, but also exceed their goals. An independent filmmaker and successful crowdfunder himself, Trigonis has literally written the book on Crowdfunding for Filmmakers, and now puts his skills to greater use with Indiegogo as the funding platform’s specialist for film and video campaigns.
