UK based HireJungle, a fast growing peer to peer rental marketplace is now open to investments as they are raising £100,000 on equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube. The offer represents 25% equity in the company and is eligible for SEIS tax relief. The tech start-up allows users to save money by hiring instead of buying stuff, or make money by hiring out spare goods commission-free.
The company was inspired by the economic austerity times post 2009’s crisis. HireJungle wants to deliver the most comprehensive online hiring resource to make sure people ‘share the spare’ and pay only for what they use. It is a simple approach towards a more responsible consumption, better allocation of resources and less accummulation of “stuff”. The company views HireJungle’s out of “beta website” as a unique money saving proposition allows users to pay for what they use with convenient initiatives to hire and ‘try before buy’.
