One of the co-founders of the One Spark crowdfunding festival that just took place earlier this month in Jacksonville, Florida was recently interviewed on CNBC about the fast growing event. Peter Rummell talks about the importance of keeping “bright young people” and how they need jobs and other bright young people.
Rummell states that at last year’s One Spark they had over $1 million in Venture Capital floating around and that number grew to over $3 million for the event this year. He says they are about helping startups and that One Spark is a startup themselves. He also mentions the forthcoming event taking place in Berlin, Germany later this year.
