AssetAvenue, a peer-to-peer lending platform for commercial real estate has announced that commercial real estate executive Eddie Prosser is joining the company as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Investments.
Prosser will be responsible for expanding key lender and broker partnerships as well as utilizing his acquisition and financing experience to build upon the company’s technology platform.
“Eddie is one of the most sophisticated commercial real estate executives in the field and has a passion to improve the process for investors using technology,” said David Manshoory, founder and CEO of AssetAvenue. “His leadership will guide the growth of our proprietary underwriting platform and further develop our strategic industry alliances and partners.”
Prosser is said to bring more than a decade of institutional real estate experience to AssetAvenue and has been responsible for the growth and management of real estate pipelines that represent over $1.5 billion in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and management. Most recently, he held a senior position at Legacy Partners where he was responsible for the acquisition and development management of multifamily and mixed-use opportunities. Prior to Legacy, Prosser served at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) where he managed and disposed of real estate assets from failed institutions, participated in bank closures, and oversaw mass marketing events. Prosser graduated from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and holds a real estate broker’s license in California.
