FuelBox Inc., makers of the mobile charging solution called the powerStation, has been selected as part of funding site Indiegogo’s new “Forever Funding” pilot program. The “Forever Funding” program invites top funding performers like FuelBox to continue pre-order sales and fund raising beyond initial timelines and goals. FuelBox was selected due to its high “GoGo Factor.” The “GoGo Factor” is based on interaction, engagement, viewership, as well as fundraising success. FuelBox Inc., based in Santa Barbara, exceeded its initial goal by raising nearly $71K in pre-order sales in less than six weeks.
Recently, FuelBox was also named winners of Indiegogo’s “Maker Challenge” best campaign, sponsored by Amazon and Autodesk. The “Maker Challenge” is part of President Barack Obama’s White House “Maker Faire” program to encourage U.S.-based technology development and manufacturing, promotes innovative programs and campaigns on its crowd-funding website. FuelBox Inc., Santa Barbara, Calif., is a mobile charging technology company committed to creating the ultimate mobile charging solutions for tech devices.
