Security systems are trending on Fundable. Sentri has posted over $390,000 in pre-orders for its home security 
system. After ending its successful Kickstarter campaign this past July, the startup linked with Fundable for its next funding round. According to Fundable, Team Sentri led by USC and Columbia grad CEO Yen Tung, UC Berkley grad COO Wendy Qi, Product Lead Ray Hsieh, Engineering Lead Rical Hsieh and Design Advisor and recipient of the iF design award Hunter Luo has raised $125,000 to date and is working to move into beta testing before shipping the first Sentri units in the coming months.
The Sentri system features an HD video camera and motion detector technology, as well as a set of sensors that measure and display user’s home temperature, humidity levels and air quality. Sentri also has the ability to act as a centralized hub for all connected devices, allowing users to connect multiple smart devices directly to Sentri, and view, control and make the most of one’s complete smart home experience from a single application.
“Traditional security systems are often bulky and conspicuous; Sentri, on the other hand, is designed to fit

Unlike traditional security systems, which can take hours to set up and cost thousands of dollars to install, in addition to monthly service fees, Sentri is ready to use out of the box, with no professional installation service or monthly contracts required. Simply plug in, power on, and connect to your home’s WiFi network, and Sentri is good to go!
