Jon Medved, CEO and founder of global investment crowdfunding site OurCrowd, hit the screens of CNN last week to talk about the Israeli political scene but more importantly to chat up his innovative funding platform. The video was presented just prior to OurCrowds global investor summit which took place in Israel last week. The gathering saw over 800 investors from around the globe and delivered over $4 million in new investment to OurCrowd listed companies. The CNN host baits Medved a bit by stating Israel needs a manufacturing industry to actually be relevant and Medved counters by asking the question, “do you think Potash is our future”. CNN lost that round.
